CINEMAX | OUTCAST

To launch Outcast, the brainchild of The Walking Dead's creator Robert Kirkman and the original comic book series, my team and I spawned a show trailer users control with their eyes to fuel a nightmare. Facial recognition, 3D audio, and fancy coding make viewers feel as if they are experiencing their own possession.

Be scared to close your eyes. Be scared to open them.

If you don't want to tour your own exorcism, below are extracted audio and visuals.

AUDIO ONLY
Since the coding makes it so you'd never experience the same script twice, here is the most complete 3D audio script. Writing a piece like this not only takes possible broken timing into consideration due to a user's autonomy, but also continuously moving audio and spacial placement of the script.

Put on headphones first to get the full 3D-ness.

EXAMPLE VISUAL JOURNEY
This is what it looks like when a user opens and closes their eyes at various times, as detected by facial recognition/camera. When eyes are closed, the "black goo" (an element from the show) appears and the user hears the frightening 3D audio. But when they then open their eyes again, 2D audio and a matching, disorienting scene from the show take over.
